Art exhibitions feature Luz Parra and Julian Rosefeldt

Artist Luz Parra is presenting a selection of her most recent works at Códigos del Arte de Dénia. The exhibition, which runs until November 21, features approximately a dozen paintings focusing on portraiture and everyday urban scenes from Dénia, specifically the Marqués de Campo street, alongside Mediterranean natural motifs.

Separately, the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC) is hosting Julian Rosefeldt’s exhibition, Manifesto, from September 5 to December 6. The installation features a 13-channel cinematic work where actress Cate Blanchett portrays twelve different characters. The work explores the legacy of 20th-century artistic manifestos, including Futurism, Dadaism, and Fluxus, through a complex audiovisual and architectural lens.
