Art exhibitions held in Kozienice and Marki

Several art exhibitions have recently opened or concluded in the Mazovia region of Poland. In Kozienice, the Kozienicki Dom Kultury hosted the closing event for the exhibition ‘Bliskość, która buduje’ (Closeness that Builds) by artists Weronika and Wiktoria Krekora. The exhibition, which focuses on the relationship between humans and horses, was accompanied by artistic graphic workshops where participants used stamps and brushes to create animal-themed compositions.

In Marki, the Powiatowe Centrum Kultury Fabryczka held the opening of ‘Kto mi dał skrzydła’ (Who Gave Me Wings) by Marzena Wieczorek-Starczewska, the chairperson of the Marki City Council. The exhibition features landscapes and abstractions, uniquely pairing the artist's work with paintings by her grandfather to showcase a multi-generational family connection to art.
