Art exhibitions in Sicily extended or launched
Several art exhibitions in Sicily are seeing updates due to high interest or new programming. The Fernando Botero exhibition, currently held at Palazzo Riso in Palermo and the Valle dei Templi in Agrigento, has been extended until January 10, 2027. This extension follows a significant increase in visitors, with some periods seeing growth of up to 30 percent. The exhibition has also integrated artificial intelligence to provide multilingual audio guides in over ten languages, including Sicilian.
Additionally, the Fondazione Elpis is presenting “Se ascolti tutto risponde. Storie e gesti di Una Boccata d’Arte” at Officine Bellotti in Palermo. Running from November 12, 2026, to January 7, 2027, the free exhibition features works and traces from the seventh edition of the Una Boccata d’Arte project. The showcase includes an archive of the project’s history from 2020 to 2026, highlighting contemporary art interventions across various Italian villages.
