Art exhibitions launch in Concepción and Seville

Concepción, Chile, is hosting an outdoor art exhibition featuring reproductions of works from the Museo del Prado. From October 1 to November 15, 38 large-format panels displaying 51 life-sized reproductions will be installed along Diagonal Pedro Aguirre Cerda. The collection includes masterpieces by artists such as Velázquez, Goya, El Greco, Caravaggio, and Rembrandt. To assist the public, 35 trained mediators will be available to explain the pieces. The initiative, supported by the Spanish Embassy and the Ministry of Cultures, aims to integrate local commerce and gastronomy to revitalize the neighborhood.

In Seville, Spain, the Expo Solidaria #RetoPichón 2026 is opening at the Fundación Cajasol Gallery. The exhibition features over 50 donated works from various Andalusian artists, including paintings, photography, and illustrations. All proceeds from the event will benefit the OPORTUNIDAD de Paz y Bien project, which supports young adults transitioning out of the state protection system by providing assistance with training, employment, and housing.
