Art exhibitions launch in Mirassol and Ceará
Several art exhibitions are opening in Brazil. In Mirassol, the 1st Metropolitan Metropolitan Exhibition of Plastic Arts is being held at the Cultural Center. The exhibition features works from 35 regional artists and includes pieces by José Antonio da Silva, a prominent figure in Brazilian naïve art, from the Municipal Museum of Mirassol's collection. The event aims to highlight regional artistic production and preserve the city's cultural memory.
In Ceará, the Museu da Cultura Cearense (MCC) is inaugurating the exhibition ‘Corpo, Cidade e Rastros’ (Body, City and Traces) as part of the 20th Primavera dos Museus. This exhibition showcases works created by the museum's own educators and professionals, including researchers and preservationists. The collection uses various mediums such as embroidery, painting, and photography to explore themes of identity, memory, and urban spaces through the lens of those who work within the institution.
