Art exhibitions open at PAC and MUDEC in Milan
Milan's cultural institutions are hosting two significant exhibitions. The PAC Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea is presenting ‘Ri-scatti Prima che sia notte’, a project curated by Diego Sileo and organized by a volunteer association. The exhibition features works by 23 migrant and refugee women who used photography to document their journeys, motherhood, rights, and search for a new future. The project, supported by the Municipality of Milan and Tod’s, ran through October 2026.
Meanwhile, MUDEC is hosting ‘Matisse. Il mondo in una stanza’, an exhibition running until February 21, 2027. The display features approximately 100 works, including paintings, sculptures, and drawings from international institutions. The exhibition explores how Henri Matisse’s art was enriched by his engagement with distant cultures and objects, highlighting his decorative projects and his relationship with color and form.
