Art exhibitions open at Saline royale and Pavillon Vendôme

Two new art exhibitions have launched in France, exploring themes of illusion, nature, and imagination.

At the Saline royale d’Arc-et-Senans, the exhibition ‘Mystification – Architecture et cinéma : la quête de l’illusion’ is currently running through February 2027. The showcase examines the relationship between architecture and cinema, drawing parallels between the 18th-century industrial utopia designed by Claude-Nicolas Ledoux and the visual language of film and art. The exhibition explores how perspective, light, and anamorphosis shape human perception.

In Clichy, the Pavillon Vendôme Art Center has opened a collective exhibition titled ‘Aux Frontières de l’imaginaire’, which will be held until January 9, 2027. Curated by Marie Deparis Yafil, the exhibition features various contemporary creators, including plant artist Alexis Tricoire. Tricoire’s featured work, ‘La Nature en Suspens’, explores the connections between the natural world and artificial creation through poetic installations.
