Art exhibitions open for Chechela García and Kely

Artist Chechela García is opening a new pictorial exhibition titled ‘Sensaciones’ at the Sala Curuxeiras. The show features approximately fifty oil paintings that stem from her personal experiences and imagination, aiming to provoke curiosity and interpretation in viewers of all ages. The exhibition will run until the 27th.

In Bueño, a retrospective exhibition is honoring the work of the artist Kely. The exhibition is split between two locations: the Casa de las Artes y las Ciencias, which houses her early works, and the Centro Artístico, which features her later, meditative, and zen-inspired pieces. The collection includes large-format works, a four-meter triptych, ceramics, and Asian painting tools. The retrospective, curated by Santiago Martínez, traces Kely’s artistic evolution through her various stylistic stages and will remain open until November 27.
