Art exhibitions open in Broumov and Senica

Galerie Dům in Broumov, Czech Republic, is hosting a new exhibition by Lukáš Slavický titled ‘Duel - Pro kulturu’. Curated by Petr Vaňous, the project functions as a site-specific installation designed specifically for the spaces of the baroque monastery. The exhibition explores human cognition through the intersection of experience and memory, utilizing a mix of paintings, drawings, and authentic objects to create a structural and spatial experience.

In Senica, Slovakia, the LM Galéria is presenting an exhibition by artist Miloslav Pavúček titled ‘Keď niekto zavola, položím štetec’. The title refers to Pavúček’s life as a taxi driver, noting how his oil painting sessions are often interrupted by work calls. His work, which focuses on landscapes, architectural fragments, and still lifes, is inspired by photographs and personal observations. The exhibition is scheduled to run until September 25, 2026.
