Art exhibitions open in Cehegín and Puertollano

Two distinct art exhibitions are currently being held in Spain. In Cehegín, artist Juan Corbalán is presenting ‘Toro’ at Casa Gorta. The exhibition, which runs until September 20, focuses on the bull through various techniques and disciplines, exploring the artistic dimension of bullfighting. The event is part of the special programming celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Cehegín bullring.

In Puertollano, Estela de Castro is hosting ‘Retratos de familia’ at the Museo Cristina García Rodero. The exhibition features 32 portraits designed to advocate for multispecies families, portraying rescued animals as integral members of the family unit rather than mere pets. The showcase, which remains open until November 1, combines classical portraiture styles with contemporary themes of animal rights and rescue.
