Art exhibitions open in Chile and Argentina

In Quillota, Chile, the artist collective comprising Valentino Campos, Aira Ruidos, and Veo Fantasmas is inaugurating the exhibition ‘Espacios Velados’ at Galería Casa Chagual. Opening on September 25, the collection features predominantly monochromatic visual works that explore the boundaries between the familiar and the strange, focusing on themes of memory, the body, and reality.

In Argentina, the Museo Carlos Alonso is hosting ‘Luz, materia, universo’, an exhibition dedicated to the work of the late Argentine artist Ana Kozel (1937-2024). Kozel’s work explores the connection between art, science, and spirituality through depictions of the cosmos. Her career included significant milestones, such as being the first Argentine artist to have work sent to space aboard the Mir Space Station, and having her name included in a NASA mission to Mars.
