Art exhibitions open in Cosenza and Marche
Several contemporary art exhibitions have opened across Italy. In Cosenza, the “Segni di cura” exhibition is being hosted in the right nave of the Cattedrale di Cosenza. The showcase features works by Calabrian painter Liliana Condemi, whose art explores themes of nature and inner order. The project, curated by Mariateresa Buccieri, is part of a rotating exhibition designed to create a dialogue between different artists and the sacred space of the cathedral. The exhibition is scheduled to run until October 16.
In the Marche region, the second edition of “La natura del segno nelle Marche” has inaugurated at the ex Chiesa della Misericordia in San Severino Marche. Curated by Maria Letizia Paiato and Paolo Gobbi, the exhibition focuses on the dual dimension of the artistic mark: the practice of drawing and the transmission of knowledge within the Accademie di Belle Arti of Macerata and Urbino. The collection includes works from private collections and features artists such as Giorgio Morandi and Osvaldo Licini, alongside explorations of the Gruppo Immanentista of Ascoli Piceno and newer generations of artists.
