Art exhibitions open in Italy's Val di Fassa and Marzamemi

Artist Fernando Brunel, president of the Union di Ladins de Fascia, inaugurated his solo exhibition "Imprescions" on 8 August in Val di Fassa, Trentino. The show presents a series of paintings that reinterpret the valley’s landscapes, villages and Ladin cultural heritage through colour, light and personal memory.

In Sicily, the joint exhibition "Terra" by artists Chiara Fronterrè and Salvo Muscarà opened on 6 August at StudioBlu81 – Contemporary Art in Marzamemi. The show explores themes of fragility, resistance and the regeneration of the island’s terrain. A portion of the artwork sales will be donated to the Carica dei Volontari to support animal‑protection activities. The exhibition also features a photographic installation by Candida Luciano and an immersive soundscape performance by the group Soundscapes.
