Art exhibitions open in Požega and Osijek, Croatia

From 19 August to 19 September the City Museum in Požega will host the exhibition “Trag u svjetlosti”, showcasing paintings by the late Croatian artist Zdravko Ćosić. The show marks the 20th anniversary of Ćosić’s death and features works from the museum’s collection and the Prka collection.

In Osijek, the Waldinger Gallery opened the exhibition “Prostori života” by contemporary painter Tonko Smokvina. The show runs until 30 August and presents abstract‑expressionist works inspired by Mediterranean light, colour and landscape, highlighting the artist’s gestural style and connection to the Dalmatian artistic tradition.
