Art exhibitions open in Ribeirão Preto and Sorocaba

Various art exhibitions are currently open to the public in Brazil. In Ribeirão Preto, the Cine Foto Clube de Cravinhos has launched the photography exhibition ‘As cores da Primavera’ (The Colors of Spring) at Shopping Santa Úrsula. Curated by Leila Costa Quaglio and Tony Watanabe, the showcase features works from 10 photographers exploring themes of light and seasonal rebirth. The exhibition is free and runs until October 14.

In Sorocaba, the Pátio Cianê Shopping is hosting ‘Encontro na Terra Estrangeira’ (Meeting in a Foreign Land), an exhibition celebrating the 115th anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Promoted by the Sorocaba City Hall, the collection features 10 works by Taiwanese artists and 10 by local artists from Sorocaba, utilizing various mediums including calligraphy, oil painting, and poetry. The exhibition is open to the public until October 11.
