Art exhibitions opening in Gela and Marina di Ravenna

Two new art exhibitions are opening in Italy. In Gela, Sicily, the ArtGallery will host “La soglia del visibile: tra sogno e paesaggio,” a painting exhibition dedicated to the late artist Franco Conti (1950-2023). The collection focuses on the Sicilian landscape, particularly the Piana di Gela, and includes a reproduction of a 1986 work owned by the Municipality of Gela.

In Marina di Ravenna, the FaroArte gallery is hosting “Colori e sapori nelle ceramiche di Sante Ghinassi.” The exhibition honors the late painter and ceramicist Sante Ghinassi (1924–2000), whose work includes large-scale ceramic pieces and depictions of Romagna landscapes. The event, promoted by Capit Ravenna and Slow Food Ravenna, aims to highlight the connection between art and Italian culinary heritage, which was recognized as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
