Art exhibitions scheduled for September 2026

Several art exhibitions are scheduled for September 2026. At the Hosmer Gallery, Lennie Kaumzha will present mosaic-fusion paintings featuring nature and landscape imagery. Catherine Aiello will exhibit woodcut and silkscreen prints from her ‘Swimmer’ series, while Laura Davis will showcase improvisational quilts made from repurposed textiles and second-hand garments.

In Miami, Florida, the LnS Gallery will host ‘Scapes: Territories of the Seen and Unseen’ starting September 4. The exhibition features Caribbean-rooted artists, including Alexandre Arrechea, William Osorio, and the late Ana Mendieta, alongside artists such as Rafael Soriano, Carlos Alfonzo, and Emilio Sánchez. The collection explores landscape through the lenses of memory, migration, and spirituality, utilizing various media to examine how place is constructed and remembered.
