Art exhibitions scheduled in Germany for late 2026

Two distinct art exhibitions are scheduled to take place in Germany during late 2026.

Ulf Obermann-Löwenstein will present ‘Vom Bleiben und Werden’ at the Oberlandesgericht Hamm from September 21 to October 23, 2026. The exhibition showcases works created over several years using materials such as lime, pigments, marble dust, ink, canvas, and wood. The collection is organized into five perspectives: memory, transformation, growth, transition, and discovery. The works range from industrial-style paintings to organic structures and objects, often incorporating cracks and openings as part of the design. A digital component via QR codes provides additional information about the artist and specific pieces.

Additionally, the Kunstforum Westerwald e. V. will host the exhibition ‘Aufrecht. . . durchs Leben’ at the Stöffel-Park Tertiärum from September 6 to October 1, 2026. This exhibition explores themes of dignity, resilience, and social responsibility, addressing issues such as overcoming exclusion. The showcase features a variety of media, including paintings, drawings, photographs, and sculptures by several artists, including Simone Berling and Nastassja Böcher. The opening event is scheduled for September 6 and will include musical performances.
