Art exhibitions scheduled to open in Volterra and Varese

Several art exhibitions are scheduled to open in Italy this October. In Volterra, artist Massimiliano Precisi will present a solo exhibition at the Pinacoteca di Volterra starting October 3. The exhibition, held within the Pinacoteca's cloister, features paintings and sculptures that explore human interiority, subconscious fractures, and the relationship between visible and hidden emotions. The project was developed with the assistance of Riccardo Barzacchini.

In Varese, the MIV Multisala Impero cinema will host a collective exhibition titled ‘Ciak l’Arte’ from October 1 to 14 as part of the ‘Mostre in Vetrina’ series. Curated by Ana Sasu, the show features artists Anna Maria Drozd, Anna Nacca, and Cristina Taiana. The exhibition aims to bring contemporary art into non-traditional spaces, using the cinema's halls to present works on paper, canvas, and various materials, treating each piece as a cinematic frame.
