Art exhibits and tours announced for Surrey and Semiahmoo Peninsula

The Surrey Art Gallery has launched a new exhibit titled "Marking the Seasons," featuring sketches and paintings created by members of the South Surrey and White Rock Arts Society. The works were created "plein air" within Bear Creek Park, capturing the landscape through various seasonal changes. The exhibit is free to the public and runs until November 1.

Additionally, the South Rock Art Tour is scheduled for September 19 and 20 on the Semiahmoo Peninsula. This free event allows visitors to access the studios and gallery spaces of approximately 35 artists. The tour features a wide range of media, including watercolours, oils, blown glass, ceramics, and various forms of sculpture.
