Art galleries in Los Angeles and New York announce fall exhibitions
Major art hubs in Los Angeles and New York are launching significant solo exhibitions and gallery shows for the fall season.
In Los Angeles, Regen Projects is hosting a solo presentation of the late German artist Silke Otto-Knapp, exploring her evolution from watercolors to grayscale abstraction through October 24. Additionally, David Kordansky is presenting “Keith Sonnier: Inside Light: 1968–1970,” which examines the artist’s early experimentation with neon and argon.
In New York, the art scene is preparing for Armory Week, with The Armory Show scheduled for September 24-27. Notable exhibitions include Anthea Hamilton’s “Comfort Zones” at Salon 94, featuring surreal sculptures and installations. Other featured artists include Bea Scaccia, Lynda Benglis, and the Haas Brothers, with shows spanning Chelsea, Tribeca, and the Lower East Side.
