Art-kino seeks guides for new cinematic walking tour in Rijeka

Art-kino has issued a call for seven future guides to participate in a new thematic tour titled ‘Walking through Cinematic Rijeka’. The initiative is part of the international REEL project, ‘Film Journey through Italy and Croatia’, which aims to develop film tourism and strengthen production capacities in the Rijeka and Primorje-Gorski Kotar regions.

The tour will highlight the city's role in international cinematography, covering locations used in both domestic and global films, from the silent era to contemporary productions. The training session is scheduled for September 29 and will be led by writer and cultural chronicler Velid Đekić at Art-kino and various central Rijeka locations.

Interested applicants must submit a CV and a short motivation letter to klub@art-kino.org by September 24 at 16:00. Participation in the free training includes educational activities, materials, a field tour, and meals. Successful participants will receive a certificate of competence from Art-kino for interpreting this specific tour, though it does not constitute an official tourist guide license.
