Art & Vin brings contemporary art to French vineyards

The 28th edition of Art & Vin is currently underway in the Var region of France, offering contemporary art exhibitions within various wine estates through the end of October. Organized by the Fédération des Vignerons Indépendants Var-Alpes-Corse, this year’s theme is ‘Métamorphose : Matière et Temporalité’ (Metamorphosis: Matter and Temporality).

The event aims to create a dialogue between the work of the artist and the craft of the winemaker, emphasizing the shared importance of time and the transformation of raw materials. Participating locations include the Domaine de l’Olivette in Castellet, featuring tapestries and paper mâché sculptures, and Domaine Figuière in La Londe-les-Maures, which hosts botanical drawings by Francis Hallé.
