Art workshops offer experimental creative learning for children in Germany
Various art workshops and experimental spaces are offering creative programming for children in Germany.
Studio Kritzel Kratzel provides an environment where children can explore art through free experimentation, using unconventional tools such as drills or flyswatters alongside traditional brushes to discover their own creative paths.
In Kiel, the Kunsthalle zu Kiel is hosting a four-part workshop titled ‘Klangspuren – zeichnen, experimentieren & gestalten’ for children aged 9 to 14. The program, held at the musiculum workshop due to the renovation-related closure of the Kunsthalle zu Kiel, focuses on drawing and designing inspired by musical instruments and sounds. Participants explore techniques including hatching, frottage, collage, charcoal, and wax crayons on various materials like sheet music.
