Artbo fair in Bogotá emphasizes Latin American art

The 22nd edition of Artbo, Bogotá’s premier art fair, is currently underway at the Ágora Bogotá convention center. The event features 50 participating galleries, with approximately two-thirds being Colombian. Director Jaime A. Martínez stated that the fair’s primary focus is to showcase Latin American art, specifically from South and Central American countries, including neighbors such as Venezuela, Panama, and Ecuador.

As part of the event, Taller Arte Dos Gráfico is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The workshop, founded by María Eugenia Niño and Luis Ángel Parra, is presenting a chronological exhibition of its history in lithography, silkscreen, engraving, and typography. The installation includes original machinery and demonstrates the technical processes used to support hundreds of artists over five decades.
