Arte e Cultura di Bassano Romano suspends activities after losing headquarters

The Arte e Cultura di Bassano Romano association has announced the indefinite suspension of all its activities due to the loss of its headquarters. For five years, the organization operated out of the Monastero di San Vincenzo, where it was hosted free of charge.

Association president Chiara Vincenti stated that the decision was forced by a change in the monastery's management, which resulted in the group being asked to vacate the premises. Vincenti described the eviction as sudden and unjustified, leaving the association without sufficient time to secure an alternative location.

The association provides various community services, including painting, theater, sewing, and computer workshops, as well as organized events like the ‘Giornate del tè’. The suspension halts planned free courses intended for individuals with limited economic means. The group is currently seeking a new space in or near Bassano Romano to resume its workshops, rehearsals, and community meetings.
