ARTE to broadcast ‘Kundschafter des Friedens’ ahead of sequel

The film ‘Kundschafter des Friedens’ (Spies of Peace) is scheduled for a repeat broadcast on ARTE this Sunday evening. The 2017 spy comedy, directed by Robert Thalheim, follows the reactivation of former East German agent Jochen Falk by the BND to rescue a politician kidnapped by KGB agents in a former Soviet republic.

The broadcast serves as a precursor to the release of the film's sequel, produced in 2025, which is set to air on Friday, October 2.
