Arteatral CUT celebrates 25 years with 23 scenic projects
Arteatral CUT, the University Theater Company of the Faculty of Arts at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (UAQ), is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special program of 23 scenic projects. The selected works, chosen from over 60 proposals, include theater, performance, drag, live arts, and expanded scenes.
The commemorative programming will run until November 28 at the Teatro de Cámara Pamela Jiménez Draguicevic and the Teatro Esperanza Cabrera. Performances for adults are scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, while children's performances take place on Sundays. The anniversary season will conclude with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque.
Founded in 2001, Arteatral CUT serves as a platform for training, extension, and connection for the Bachelor's degree in Acting. The collective involves students, graduates, and faculty, providing opportunities for professional practice and social service. According to UAQ, approximately 80 percent of dramatic ensembles in Querétaro include at least one graduate from the Acting program.
