Arthur Aguiar faces eviction in São Paulo over R$ 166,000 debt
Brazilian actor Arthur Aguiar is facing an eviction order for a luxury apartment in the Pinheiros district of São Paulo. The lawsuit, filed by SPE II JFL 125 Empreendimento Imobiliário S.A., claims a debt exceeding R$ 166,000 in unpaid rent and associated costs, including condo fees, taxes, and utilities.
A judge from the 4th Civil Court of Pinheiros granted an injunction allowing the eviction to proceed, provided the landlord deposits a security bond of R$ 178,020. Aguiar has 15 days to either vacate the property or settle the full debt to prevent the eviction. His legal counsel stated that negotiations were ongoing and contested the specific details presented in the initial petition.
In addition to the eviction, reports indicate Aguiar is facing a separate legal action from Bradesco for approximately R$ 394,791 in unpaid credit card balances. Aguiar addressed the situation on social media, criticizing the media exposure and the use of his personal financial struggles for engagement and clicks.
