Fiorentina players Mastantuono and Atta face injury setbacks

Fiorentina players Franco Mastantuono and Arthur Atta are facing injury setbacks.

Franco Mastantuono, a 19-year-old attacker on loan from Real Madrid, underwent outpatient surgery to repair a fracture of the fourth metacarpal in his left hand. The injury occurred during a recent Serie A match against Genoa. Despite the procedure, the club expects him to resume regular training immediately and remain available for the upcoming match against Como.

Meanwhile, midfielder Arthur Atta is sidelined due to a functional overload of the abdominal muscles. After attempting a return to training, a recurrence of pain has forced the medical staff and manager Paolo Vanoli to take a cautious approach. Atta is expected to miss the match against Como, with a potential return anticipated during the club's upcoming busy schedule involving Inter, Atalanta, and Sassuolo.
