Fiorentina boosts summer roster with Dragusin, Atta and Jimenez signings

Serie A club ACF Fiorentina has intensified its summer transfer activity, adding several new players under the direction of sporting director Fabio Paratici. Romanian defender Radu Dragusin arrived on a €1.5 million loan from Tottenham with a €17.5 million purchase option, stating that “the call from Paratici made the choice easy”. French midfielder Arthur Atta joined on a €40 million deal (including future resale clauses) and praised the club’s ambition to grow. Spanish right‑back Alejandro Jiménez was secured from Bournemouth on loan with an option to buy for around €20 million, expressing enthusiasm about returning to Italy. All three highlighted the club’s project, the positive atmosphere and the desire to improve. The influx of talent reflects a shift from a conservative approach under owner Rocco Commisso to a more aggressive market strategy driven by Paratici.
