Arthur Dias emerges as Barcelona transfer target

Barcelona is reportedly interested in signing 19-year-old Brazilian defender Arthur Dias as a long-term solution for their central defense. The Athletico Paranaense player has emerged as a target following the club's failure to secure Josko Gvardiol or Alessandro Bastoni during the summer transfer window.

Dias has had a breakout season in Brazil, helping Athletico Paranaense compete near the top of the league standings after their promotion to the top flight. His performances have also earned him senior international recognition with the Brazil national team.

Regarding the transfer interest, Dias stated that while he is happy to be noticed, his immediate focus remains on his current club. He noted that playing in the Champions League is an ambition, but he is leaving transfer matters to his agent.
