Natália Boulos files complaint against Arthur do Val after debate remarks

Natália Boulos, a candidate for federal deputy, has filed a complaint with the Electoral Public Prosecutor's Office against former state deputy Arthur do Val following a debate on the Inteligência Ltda. podcast. During the discussion, Boulos mentioned her grandmother, a Ukrainian refugee from World War II, while criticizing do Val's past comments regarding Ukrainian women. Do Val responded by saying, “apresenta pra nós” (present her to us), a remark that Boulos and her legal team have classified as gender-based political violence intended to disqualify her before voters.

Guilherme Boulos, the Chief of Staff of the Presidency and husband of Natália Boulos, publicly condemned the remarks, describing do Val as lacking respect and limits. The incident has resurfaced controversy regarding do Val's 2022 comments about Ukrainian refugees, which previously led to his removal from office and subsequent ineligibility.

Separately, the Public Prosecutor's Office of São Paulo (MPSP) has denounced Arthur do Val for incitement to crime. This charge stems from a YouTube video in which he stated that financial operators in Faria Lima involved in money laundering for organized crime “tem que ser morto” (must be killed).
