Arthur Edwards, Founder of Livingstone Foundation School in Dimapur, Dies at 80
Arthur Edwards, an 80‑year‑old educator and entrepreneur, passed away on July 28 in Dimapur after a brief illness. He co‑founded Livingstone Foundation School in February 1988, which has become one of Nagaland’s leading schools, and was known for pioneering local businesses such as Breeze Bakery and Restaurant.
Family members announced that funeral services will be held on July 29 at the school campus. Tributes poured in from regional groups, including the Naga People’s Front Central Minority Wing, the Linguistic Minority Forum of Nagaland and the Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association, which praised his contributions to education, communal harmony and local commerce.
