Arthur Harari to direct psychological thriller ‘L’Inconnue’
Director Arthur Harari is set to release his third feature film, ‘L’Inconnue’, a psychological thriller and fantasy tale adapted from his own comic book. The film stars Léa Seydoux and Niels Schneider.
The story follows David Zimmerman, a reclusive photographer nearing forty who lives a solitary life. After a chance encounter with a mysterious woman at a party, the narrative takes a surreal turn: Zimmerman wakes up in the woman's body. The plot further complicates as a second instance of metempsychosis occurs, involving a 27-year-old woman who becomes trapped in the photographer's original body.
Harari, previously known for ‘Onoda: 10,000 Nights in the Jungle’ and his work on ‘Anatomy of a Fall’, explores themes of identity, solitude, and the disappearance of the past through this immersive, 2-hour and 20-minute cinematic experience.
