Arthur Hayes' $3.75M Ethereum Purchases Signal Institutional Confidence

Arthur Hayes, co‑founder of BitMEX, increased his Ethereum holdings by purchasing 1,290 ETH worth roughly $2.5 million through FalconX and later added 644.34 ETH valued at about $1.25 million. Over the past eight days his total accumulation reaches 3,270 ETH, approximately $6.3 million at an average price near $1,917 per coin.

At the same time, blockchain data identified a previously inactive wallet that resumed activity, buying 27,000 ETH – about $52 million – via Galaxy Digital’s OTC desk. The large‑scale acquisitions suggest growing institutional demand for Ethereum, which remains the leading platform for decentralized finance and tokenized assets. Market data showed positive netflows of $5.58 million to exchanges and rising futures open interest, indicating that leveraged traders also maintain bullish exposure.
