Artificial Brain announces new album ‘Antillia’
Death metal band Artificial Brain has announced their fourth studio album, titled ‘Antillia’, which is scheduled for release on November 13 via Profound Lore Records. The announcement includes the release of the first single, ‘Quantum Malignancies’.
The band has recently undergone changes following a move to Richmond, Virginia, resulting in a new lineup that includes founding members Dan Gargiulo and Samuel Smith, alongside guitarist Oleg Zalman, vocalist Mike Paparo, and drummer Alex Tomlin. Bassist Samuel Smith noted that the new single reflects both continuity and evolution in the band's sound, aided by the immediacy brought by the new members.
‘Antillia’ was recorded and mixed by Ian Jacyszyn and mastered by Colin Marston. The album's lyrical themes, according to vocalist Mike Paparo, explore the human struggle with the universe and the potential for technology to be misused by those in power.
