Global artificial intelligence web traffic saw a 46 percent increase in 2025, reaching a total of 125.7 billion visits. Data compiled by AITools.xyz, utilizing traffic estimates from Semrush and Ahrefs, indicates that the United States leads the world with 26.9 billion visits, accounting for 21.4 percent of global traffic. India follows with 11.96 billion visits, and Brazil ranks third with 7.02 billion visits.

Technological shifts are also transforming how AI is deployed. The industry is seeing a trend toward intelligence becoming cheaper, smaller, and faster. Through techniques such as model compression and knowledge distillation, large models are being reduced in size to allow for local inference on devices without requiring constant internet connectivity. This shift enables lower latency and improved privacy for applications in automotive, home automation, and personal electronics.

As the cost of processing tokens decreases, companies are increasingly integrating AI directly into core business processes, such as accounting software and educational tools, rather than treating it as a standalone utility.
