Artimus Pyle Band announces tour featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd music

The Artimus Pyle Band has announced upcoming tour dates, beginning August 27 in Cleveland, Ohio. The tour features music from the legendary Southern rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Artimus Pyle, the drummer and the last living member of Lynyrd Skynyrd to survive the 1977 plane crash that killed several bandmates including vocalist Ronnie Van Zant, will lead the performances. Pyle noted that performing the music remains an emotional experience and a technical challenge due to the unique nature of each song's drum parts.

Following the opening in Ohio, the tour will include stops in Pennsylvania, Florida, South Carolina, New Jersey, Kansas, and New Hampshire.
