Artinvita Festival 2026 to explore human impact in Abruzzo

The ninth edition of Artinvita, the International Festival of Abruzzo, is scheduled to take place from October 23 to November 1, 2026. Spanning the municipalities of Orsogna, Guardiagrele, Arielli, and Crecchio in the Chieti province, the festival focuses on the relationship between human activity, the landscape, and the future.

The program includes various artistic languages such as dance, music, theater, and installations. Key highlights include a documentary video installation by Paola Di Mitri, titled ‘Da qui in poi ci sono i Leoni’, at the Church of San Rocco in Arielli, which examines landscape changes caused by human impact. Additionally, French artist Pernelle Gaufillet-Ventura will present a visual installation in Guardiagrele following a month-long residency supported by the Institut Français and the French Embassy in Italy through the Nouveau Grand Tour 2026 project.
