Artisan Fashion Shows in Pordenone and Carlantino Spotlight Handcrafted Designs

On July 30, 2026 the ex‑Convent of San Francesco in Pordenone hosted “Artigianato in Passerella”, a runway of locally made sartorial pieces organized by Unione Artigiani – Confartigianato Imprese Pordenone. The event coincided with the regional Miss Eleganza finals and, according to Silvano Pascolo, president of Confartigianato Pordenone, “it is a collective story of elegance and territorial identity, showing that craftsmanship is both tradition and innovation.”

The following night, July 31, 2026, women in Carlantino marched through the historic centre wearing self‑made garments crafted from recycled fabrics. The show, coordinated by stylist Elvira Catignano and supported by the municipality, the training institute IN Formazione, and local cultural groups, formed part of the “Riflessi di Carlantino” cultural programme. Daniela Cafano, a municipal councillor, emphasised the inclusive nature of the event, while Mayor Graziano Coscia highlighted its celebration of local art, craft and sustainable fashion.
