Artisan festivals held in San Fernando and Tres Arroyos

Various artisan festivals are being held across Argentina, showcasing traditional crafts and local culture.

In San Fernando, the 29th National Meeting of Artisans will take place at Plaza Mitre from September 9 to 13. The event features over 150 artisans from across the country, including indigenous groups such as the Quom from Chaco and the Wichis from Formosa. Participants work with materials like wood, wool, metal, stone, and clay. The festival also includes live music, theater, and magic shows.

In Tres Arroyos, Buenos Aires province, the 27th National Festival of Artisans is held at the Municipal Polideportivo. The event highlights various trades, including pottery, woodworking, blacksmithing, weaving, leatherwork, and jewelry making. In addition to the craft exhibitions, the festival features gastronomy from various foreign collectives.
