Artisan festivals scheduled for Labor Day weekend

Various artisan festivals are scheduled for the upcoming Labor Day weekend in North America.

In Fort Bragg, California, the Paul Bunyan Days Crafts Fair will take place on September 5 and 6 at the CV Starr Community Center. The event features up to 80 booths selling exclusively handcrafted items, including jewelry, clothing, pottery, and woodwork. Proceeds from booth fees support Soroptimist projects aimed at assisting women and girls through scholarships and community services.

On Vancouver Island, the 24th annual Artisans’ Festival will be held at Kitty Coleman Woodland Gardens from September 5 to 7. The festival showcases high-quality handcrafted goods such as glass vessels, garden sculptures, and fine art set within a 25-acre natural environment. The event will also feature live musical performances, including guest artist Ricky Paquette.
