Artisanal chocolate festivals announced for Campobasso and Ascoli Piceno

Several Italian cities are hosting festivals dedicated to artisanal chocolate and gastronomic excellence.

In Campobasso, the Choco Italia itinerant fair will take place from October 1 to October 4 at Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Organized by Associazione Italia Eventi, the event focuses on short supply chains and direct dialogue between producers and consumers. The fair aims to highlight the traceability of ingredients and the manual craftsmanship involved in chocolate production.

Additionally, Ascoli Piceno will host the eighth edition of the Festa del Cioccolato in Piazza del Popolo from October 9 to 11, 2026. This event, linked to the Choco Amore National Association of Chocolatiers, will feature master chocolatiers from various Italian regions. The program includes educational workshops for schools and 'Choco Play' activities for children, alongside the sale of traditional products such as pralines, gianduiotti, and cremini.
