Artist AOISIMON to hold ‘COMIC WORLD’ solo exhibition in Tokyo

Artist AOISIMON will hold a solo exhibition titled ‘COMIC WORLD’ at New Gallery in Jinbocho, Tokyo, from October 2 to October 18, 2026. The exhibition focuses on the artist's core painting expressions, expanding upon a creative universe that blends manga, art, and street culture.

AOISIMON, based in Fukuoka, has previously held exhibitions in Hakata and was selected as a young artist for the ‘from YBA to YJA’ exhibition at the Kyoto City Kyocera Museum of Art. The upcoming show will feature the artist's first art book, ‘AOISIMON’, along with exclusive exhibition items. The works explore themes of identity and freedom through the depiction of ‘alien’ characters in a fantastical, multi-dimensional world.
