Artist Gabrielle Strauss completes residency in Fort Langley

Artist Gabrielle Strauss recently completed a residency at the Olde Library Space in Fort Langley, where she produced approximately ten acrylic paintings inspired by the Fraser River. During her tenure, Strauss engaged with visitors from four continents and sold various artworks, including original pieces, prints, and cards.

A central highlight of the residency was the creation of a communal painting depicting the river. Strauss invited the public to contribute brush strokes to the piece, an event that drew about 60 participants. Strauss noted that the collaborative process encouraged many individuals to reconnect with their own interest in art.
