Artist Ngọc Huyền returns from US for traditional ceremonies

Meritorious Artist Ngọc Huyền recently shared her experiences returning to Vietnam from the United States to participate in traditional ancestor worship ceremonies for the performing arts. Before her departure, she visited the Huỳnh Long traditional opera troupe to honor her late mentor, Bạch Mai, who was the only teacher to provide her with direct professional training.

Ngọc Huyền expressed her regrets to colleagues and various troupes, such as those led by Minh Nhí and Kim Tử Long, whom she could not visit in person due to her flight schedule to the US. Despite the high cost of travel, she noted that she returned specifically to support a performance with Kim Tử Long, citing her dedication to the stage and her respect for her late mentor.
