Artist Ngọc Xuân Hương faces hardship while caring for ailing daughter

Ngọc Xuân Hương, the former wife of renowned Cải lương artist Thanh Tuấn, is currently facing significant financial hardship. Living in a small rented room, the 77-year-old former performer works as a motorbike taxi driver and a rug seamstress to support her 58-year-old daughter, who suffers from chronic epilepsy.

According to Ngọc Xuân Hương, her daughter developed the condition following a physical injury at age 23. While the daughter's medical expenses and hospital visits are reportedly covered by Thanh Tuấn, the daily cost of living and housing remains a struggle. The Ngũ Long Du Ký artist group recently visited her to witness her difficult living conditions.
