Artist Nino Mangano Opens 'Sognando il mare' Exhibition in Reggio Calabria

Reggino artist and psychiatrist Nino Mangano will present his new exhibition “Sognando il mare” at Villa Genoese Zerbi in Reggio Calabria. The show runs from 1 to 10 August 2026, with an opening ceremony scheduled for 1 August at 18:30.

The event is organised by the cultural association Anassilaos and enjoys the patronage of the Order of Medics Surgeons and Dentists of Reggio Calabria, with speeches from local officials and cultural figures. It is supported by several cultural organisations, including Serart, A.P.D. L’Aquilone and Allianz.

Mangano’s works link the sea to the human psyche, using inks, oil pastels and watercolours to reflect on collective consciousness after the pandemic. The exhibition aims to explore how the marine environment can symbolize inner depth and transformation.
