Artist Pinky Wainer to teach watercolor workshops in Rio de Janeiro

Renowned watercolor artist Pinky Wainer will conduct her first watercolor workshops in Rio de Janeiro on November 7 and 8. The sessions will take place at Casa Caminhoá in Horto from 10:00 to 16:00.

An autodidact with 15 years of teaching experience in São Paulo, Wainer emphasizes that watercolor requires courage and creative freedom rather than rigid technique. Her work is featured in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo.

In addition to the workshops, Wainer is preparing two solo exhibitions in São Paulo: ‘Balcão de mulheres’ at Galeria Sardenberg, opening November 17, and ‘Língua-Mãe’ at the Jewish Museum, opening December 5. Both exhibitions explore themes of female existence through various media.
